In the 2019 offseason so far, six of the 15 players voted to the All-NBA Teams have changed teams. 

Zion Williamson, the No. 1 overall pick of the 2019 NBA Draft understands the business of the league but says intends to spend his entire NBA career with one team, just like Kobe Bryant and Dirk Nowitzki. 

"Personally, I’ve always told myself I want to stay with one team," Williamson said to Complex's Macklin Stern.

"Growing up, I loved what Kobe did and Dirk did, and I think if anybody’s a Michael Jordan fan, they kinda erase the Wizards thing. He still did very well there, but at the end of the day, I don’t think people look at it from the business point of view. Some people want to stay with one team but they get traded.

Nowitzki holds the record for most seasons played with a single franchise (21), while five-time NBA champion Bryant ranks second with his 20 years spent with the Los Angeles Lakers. 

"My intentions are to stay with the Pelicans my whole career, but if something happens, I wouldn't leave because I hate the place. It’s just the business," Williamson added.

The Pelicans rookie has been captivating thousands with his athleticism since high school. Even before playing a single NBA game, the 6-foot-7 forward is already considered the focal point of the franchise's future and has already signed sizeable endorsement deals with Jordan Brand and NBA 2K.

Williamson was selected No. 1 overall by the Pelicans after the franchise won the draft lottery for the first time since 2012 when they selected Anthony Davis. 

He averaged 22.6 points and 8.9 rebounds in his first and only season with the Duke Blue Devils, leading them to their 21st ACC title. He received multiple ACC recognitions including Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Athlete of the Year and ACC Tournament MVP.
