Official team rosters announced for Season 2 of 3x3 Pro Basketball League

Over this past weekend, India's only FIBA-recognised 3X3 league - the 3x3 Pro Basketball League Indian Sub-continent (3X3BL) announced the rosters for all 12 men's teams for Season 2.  

With the number of Indians participating in the 3BL and how well they perform crucial to India's qualification for the 2020 Olympics in 3x3 format, there were plenty of national team players part of team rosters in season 2, who hadn't participated in Season 1. 

Here's a look at the 11 teams announced so far:

Set to tip-off on August 2nd, as per their official release, 3BL's Season 2 will have these 12 teams compete in nine rounds across the five cities of Chandigarh, Amritsar, Mohali, Jalandhar and Patiala. 

Also, as per the league's official release, the 3BL Season 2 will witness season 1 of the first-ever 3x3 professional league for women.

Conducting nine rounds over the course of nine weeks, as per the official release, the 3BL "will help increase the points for the Indian federation in the FIBA 3x3 Rankings, which is the decider for a berth on the qualification round for the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. The winners of the men's rounds will also qualify for spots on two FIBA 3x3 World Tour Masters and three Challengers."
