Durant and Conley Jr. were Executive Producers on the film "Two Distant Strangers," which won the Academy Award for the "Best Live Action Short Film."

"Two Distant Strangers," starring Joey Bada$$ and Andrew Howard, is written and directed by Travon Free with co-director Martin Desmond Roe, who produced Kobe Bryant's Muse in 2015.

Durant's business manager Rich Kleiman and entrepreneur Sean "Diddy" Combs also served as executive producers on the film.

In 2018, the late Kobe Bryant won an Oscar for his writing and production on "Dear Basketball" under the "Best Animated Short Film" category.
