After not playing in the team's preseason opener in Chicago, the reigning MVP suited up for the Milwaukee Bucks' home opener against the Utah Jazz.

And he didn't disappoint the Bucks fans in attendance at Fiserv Forum - throwing out mean mugs and poster dunks en route to a double-double in just 21 minutes.

With their MVP back in the line-up, the Bucks comfortably led the visiting Jazz at the end of each quarter, eventually winning by a margin of 34 points (133-99).

The Bucks, who finished with the best record in the league last season, had a total of five players score in double figures while shooting 56.8% from the field.

Giannis just played 21 minutes, but absolutely loved the time on the floor.

"I love playing hard," the reigning MVP said after the game. "I always try to give everything I got. It's up to Bud [coach Mike Budenholzer] to manage my minutes."

Meanwhile, the Jazz, who rested Rudy Gobert and Joe Ingles for the game, struggled to shoot efficiently from the field, connecting on 37 percent from the field and 20.7 percent from three (6-of-29)

Milwaukee, who led by as many as 40 points on the night, improve to 2-0 in the preseason, while the Jazz fall to 1-1 after their 52-point win against the Adelaide 36ers last week.

The Bucks will next play the Mavericks in Dallas, while the Jazz travel to New Orleans to face Zion Williamson and the Pelicans on Saturday.
