The Los Angeles Lakers look set to add another veteran big man.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that DeAndre Jordan intends on signing with the Lakers once a buyout is reached with the Detroit Pistons.

Traded to Detroit from Brooklyn earlier in the day, the Lakers were quickly identified as a potential suitor for Jordan.

Joining Marc Gasol and Dwight Howard as potential options at the five in Los Angeles, Jordan is the youngest of the trio at 33 years old. It will be a return to Staples Center for Jordan, who spent 10 seasons with the LA Clippers from 2009 to 2018.

Averaging 7.5 points and 7.5 rebounds across 57 regular season appearances with the Brooklyn Nets last season, Jordan fell out of the rotation in the playoffs and did not see any court time.
