With just over six minutes left on the game clock, the LA Clippers were up 11 (108-97) against the Denver Nuggets in the fifth and final game of the NBA's Christmas Day slate.

And Kawhi Leonard was on the floor after receiving an accidental blow from teammate Serge Ibaka while vying for a rebound. After receiving treatment to stop the bleeding, he was able to leave the court by himself.

Postgame, ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk reported that Leonard required eight stitches for the mouth laceration he suffered.

Up until then, the Klaw was stuffing the stat sheet and making his impact known all across the board with 21 points, seven assists, five rebounds, and four steals on 8-of-14 shooting from the field in 30 minutes of action. The Clippers would withstand a late Nuggets run, to eventually win comfortably 121-108.

"I didn't even see it," Lue said after the game, while Leonard was being evaluated. "... He's going to be fine. He got up and walked off the floor, so he's good."

The team is set to head back to Los Angeles to begin a 3-game homestand, starting with the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday.
