The Memphis Grizzlies coaching search is now over.

According to a report from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Memphis is set to hire Taylor Jenkins as its next head coach.

Jenkins joins the Grizzlies after spending six seasons under Mike Budenholzer – he served as an assistant with the Atlanta Hawks from 2013-18 and spent the 2018-19 season as an assistant coach with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Prior to his time as an assistant under Budenholzer, Jenkins served as head coach of the G League's Austin Toros (now Spurs) in the 2012-13 season, leading the team to a 27-23 record and a playoff berth.

Memphis parted ways with head coach JB Bickerstaff this offseason after he led the team to a 33-49 record in the 2018-19 season. The Grizzlies roster features veteran guard Mike Conley Jr., veteran big man Jonas Valanciunas as well as All-Rookie First Team member Jaren Jackson Jr. and they own the No. 2 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.
