Report: Steven Adams heading to the New Orleans Pelicans in multiple team trade

The Oklahoma City Thunder's collection of first-round picks has grown yet again, with reports suggesting a multiple team trade between the Oklahoma City Thunder, Denver Nuggets, Milwaukee Bucks and New Orleans Pelicans is in the works.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski was first to report the pending trade, with Thunder big man Steven Adams set to join the Pelicans in the deal.

The 27-year-old Kiwi has spent all seven of his seasons in the league with the Oklahoma City franchise, holding averages of 9.8 points and 7.6 rebounds. Moving on from Adams would be a further exodus of experience from the now rebuilding Thunder, with Danilo Gallinari agreeing to terms with the Atlanta Hawks earlier in the day and Chris Paul being traded to Phoenix.

In return for Adams, the Thunder are set to receive George Hill, Darius Miller, a 2023 protected first-round pick from the Nuggets and a pair of future second-round picks.
