Earlier this week, Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that "multiple NBA players have begun informally retiring Kobe Bryant’s jersey number(s) as a tribute."

Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie was the first player to change his jersey number, going from No. 8 to No. 26. Many players have since joined him in changing their number out of respect for the Los Angeles Lakers legend.

Here's a running list that we will continue to add to if and when more players are announced:

According to Marc Stein of The New York Times, the NBA is reviewing jersey number requests on a "case-by-case basis."

A total of 22 players have worn No. 8 this season. An additional 14 players have worn No. 24.

Bryant wore No. 8 between 1996 and 2006. He then wore No. 24 between 2006 and 2016.
