Stephen Curry passes Guy Rodgers, becomes Golden State Warriors' all-time assists leader

With his second assist of the game, Stephen Curry passed Hall of Famer Guy Rodgers for the most career assists in Golden State Warriors history. 

Curry took 737 regular-season games to pass Rodgers' tally, which was recorded in 587 regular-season games.

The two other pillars alongside Curry that made Warriors a dynasty midway through the 2010s, joined in to congratulate the 3-time NBA Champion on his historic feat. 

Curry finished with 27 points in this game, one the Warriors lost 128-97. Later this season, the two-time former MVP will most likely become the franchise leader in a couple more all-time stat categories.

His career points tally stands at 17,531, needing only 252 more points to pass Wilt Chamberlain and become the franchise's all-time leader in total points. Meanwhile, in the franchise's leaderboard for steals, Curry is only 103 behind all-time leader Chris Mullin (1,360).
