Tony Parker will have his No. 9 jersey retired by the San Antonio Spurs, becoming the 10th player in franchise history to receive the honour.

Parker spent the first 17 years of his career with the Spurs before playing his 18th and final season with the Charlotte Hornets in 2018-19.

Taken with the 28th overall pick in the 2001 NBA draft, Parker went on to make six All-Star teams in San Antonio where he won four championships and was named 2007 Finals MVP. Parker finished inside the top 10 in MVP voting four times, topping out at fifth in 2011-12. He is the Spurs' all-time leader in assists and ranks second in games played behind only Tim Duncan.
