In the second quarter of the Hawks' game vs. the Milwaukee Bucks, Trae Young fell awkwardly and needed help from his teammates to come off the floor.

A few minutes later, the Hawks confirmed that the Rookie of the Year runner up would not return to the game after suffering a right ankle sprain.

After the game, immediate swelling on the right ankle was the only update provided by Lloyd Pierce on Young. The Hawks play the Bulls at the United Center in Chicago on the second night of a back-to-back.

"I rolled it pretty bad," Young said. "It hurts pretty bad right now but that's to be expected. I came back here, got some treatment on it, iced it already."

The Hawks later confirmed that Young would not be traveling to Chicago.

Prior to this game, Young was averaging 29.0 points, 8.5 assists, and 4.4 rebounds in 35.6 minutes through 30 games.
