The NBA season continued with an eight-game schedule and plenty to follow with 16 teams in action.

Los Angeles Lakers 96, New York Knicks 111

A big night for Julius Randle helped the Knicks run away from the Lakers in the second half. The All-Star forward finished with 34 points, 10 rebounds and four assists.

Philadelphia 76ers 113, Dallas Mavericks 95

Joel Embiid was at his dominant best, pouring in 36 points in just 25 minutes as the Sixers cruised to a dominant win over Dallas.

San Antonio Spurs 120, Orlando Magic 97

Six Spurs finished in double-digits led by 19 points for DeMar DeRozan. Rookie RJ Hampton led Orlando with 16 points and eight rebounds.

Chicago Bulls 90, Memphis Grizzlies 101

Jonas Valanciunas continued his big season with 26 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Grizzlies to a big win at home. Ja Morant also added a double-double with 13 points and 10 assists.

Sacramento Kings 110, New Orleans Pelicans 117

Brandon Ingram (34) and Zion Williamson (30) combined for 64 points to lead the Pelicans to a win over fellow play-in tournament contender, Sacramento Kings.

Washington Wizards 125, Utah Jazz 121

Russell Westbrook finished with yet another triple-double as the Wizards upset the Jazz on the road. Westrbook finished with 25 points, 14 rebounds and 14 assists.

Denver Nuggets 107, Golden State Warriors 116

Steph Curry dropped 53 points on a night where he passed Wilt Chamberlain as the all-time leading scorer in franchise history.

A tough loss for the Nuggets was made worse by a knee injury late in the fourth quarter to star guard Jamal Murray. Murray was driving to the basket before his knee appeared to buckle underneath him. The team will now await results of an MRI.

Houston Rockets 120, Phoenix Suns 126

Jae Crowder led the Suns with 26 points while Devin Booker added 24 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. Phoenix have now closed to within 1.5 games of the Utah Jazz in first place of the West.
