Vince Carter 25,000 points: Highlighting the path to the career milestone

Wednesday night, Vince Carter became just the 22nd player in NBA history to surpass the 25,000 point mark.

The 41-year-old Carter is in his 21st NBA season and entered the night just 13 points away from the historic plateau. In scoring 14 points against the Toronto Raptors, Carter poetically scored his 25,000th point against the very same franchise he scored his first career points for with a dunk at the buzzer.

Over the course of his 21-year career, Carter has electrified eight different fanbases, making a number of memories along the way.

While the accomplishment could be reduced to revisiting each square plateau along the way, for a player of Carter's stature, it's only right to focus in on some of the biggest moments of his career.

With that being said, let's revisit 15 moments along the path to 25,000 points for No. 15.
