WATCH: The Basketball journey so far for NBA Academy India's Vivek Chauhan

It's been a journey of more than a couple of years for Vivek Chauhan at the NBA Academy India.

He was a member of the 21-member inaugural class of the academy when it opened in 2017 and since then he has grown from strength to strength.

A couple of months in, he was selected as part of a 12-member squad to travel to Hangzhou, China for the fourth Asia Pacific Team Camp.

However, it's been in 2019 that he has taken the opportunity and platform provided to him by the NBA Academy India and grabbed it with both hands.

In late January, he and Jagshaanbir Singh were selected to be part of the NBA Academy's week-long opportunity for select prospects to train with professional trainers, scrimmage with American high school teams and live the NBA life in New York City.

There, he along with other top prospects of the NBA Academy met Dwyane Wade.

A couple of months later, he was one among seven (three boys) to be selected from NBA Academy India for the NCAA Next Generation Camp at the Final Four.

As per the NBA Academy India website, Vivek is a member of the current roster.
