Team Wilson took home bragging rights in Las Vegas, edging Team Delle Donne 129-126 in the 2019 WNBA All-Star Game held at Mandalay Bay Events Center.

Erica Wheeler was the star of the show, coming off the bench to score a game-high 25 points, knocking down seven three-pointers on her way to being named MVP.

"Just never give up, man," Wheeler said post-game. "Just never give up, no matter what nobody tell you. Just keep moving."

"I use my mom as my motivation," the undrafted Wheeler said. "I lost her when I was in college to cancer, so I just keep moving because I know she's watching me more than ever. This one right here is for you, Mom."

Allie Quigley and Natasha Howard added 14 points apiece, while Aussie Liz Cambage chipped in eight points and six rebounds in the win.

Nneka Ogwumike led the way for Team Delle Donne with 22 points off the bench, while Kristi Toliver and Brittney Griner scored 16 points each and Canadian Kia Nurse 15. Griner had the crowd on their feet throughout the game, racking up dunk after dunk.

Delle Donne scored just six points on 2-of-6 shooting in her 21 minutes of action.

Team Wilson raced out to an early 39-23 lead in the first quarter and never looked back, hanging onto the lead for the rest of the game. Team Della Donne trimmed the lead to just three points down the stretch, but Wheeler capped off her MVP performance with a stepback dagger three-pointer to ice the game.

There was no shortage of stars in the house, with Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul, Sue Bird and US soccer star Megan Rapinoe among the big names in the building for the festivities.

Meanwhile, Iman Shumpert was on the decks, DJ'ing as his wife, singer Teyana Taylor took the stage for the half-time performance.

The 2019 All-Star Game set plenty of records with both teams combining for the most points (255) and assists (69) ever in a WNBA All-Star Game. Wheeler's seven three-pointers tied the record for most threes in an All-Star game, while Team Wilson's 21 triples set a new record.
